Project Missing Voice  is designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of adolescents and adults facing speech and communication challenges. This includes individuals living with aphasia, cognitive deficits, and those in need of LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) services.

Our experienced, bilingual, speech language pathologist is trained to provide specialized care for these conditions, and will work with you to develop a tailored therapy plan that will help you reach your goals.

Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT)

A highly effective and empirically supportive speech therapy program. This program that focuses on amplifying the voice and improving overall communication.

This benefits individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and down syndrome.  

Cognitive Deficits

Cognitive deficits services in speech therapy involve using specific techniques to help individuals with cognitive impairments, such as memory loss or difficulty with language, improve their speech and communication abilities.

Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) Support 

AAC support services in speech therapy are designed to help individuals with communication difficulties use alternative communication tools, such as assistive technology devices, to enhance their ability to express themselves effectively.

Speech Evaluations & Consultation

Speech evaluations and consultations are assessments conducted by speech therapists to evaluate an individual's speech and communication abilities. These assessments provide important information about an individual's strengths and weaknesses, and help speech therapists develop a personalized therapy plan that is tailored to your specific needs.

Language Development 

Language development services include specialized treatment plans aimed at developing expressive/receptive skills across all age groups.

Motor Speech Disorders 

Dysarthria: (A speech disorder caused by muscle weakness or problems with muscle control that result in slurred or slow speech.)
Apraxia: (Strokes and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries)

Integrative Care

The Missing Peace Clinic ensures integrated support for individuals who may also suffer from mental health challenges. Individuals who are interested can be referred to the Missing Peace Counseling Program.
